Laura L. (Smith) Shoun, OTR/L
Laura has worked as an occupational therapist for more than 30 years, mostly in the area of Pediatrics, after discovering a love for the profession during ‘volunteen’ years at then Baptist Medical Center. During the first part of her career, she primarily worked in the public schools (Oklahoma City, Putnam City, Yukon/Mustang ESY), working also through Sooner Start, and teaching as an adjunct faculty member at the OTA program at OCCC in Oklahoma City. She provided OT in varied home and community settings, including sheltered workshops, Vo-Tech programs, fitness centers, etc. She was the sole OT at Rubicon Learning Center, a non-profit day school for children with Autism during the year it was open, and treated children through outpatient hospital and outpatient clinic settings for several years as well, at Mercy Physical Medicine, Sensational Kids, Inc. and most recently, through Full Circle Developmental Center in Oklahoma City. Laura went to Putnam City High School and graduated in 1980 then went on and graduated in 1982 from the University of Oklahoma, pre-occupational therapy curriculum.She then went to the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and graduated in 1985 with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy. She loves watching children learn and grow and wants nothing more than to watch children succeed.

Angelica graduated from the Occupational Therapy Assistant program at Oklahoma City Community College in 2019. Angelica is bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish. She is an active member of Oklahoma Association of Neonatal and Pediatric Therapists (OANAPT). She has a passion for working with our pediatric population. "Seeing my clients make small gains each day while working towards their full potential makes all the effort worth it."
